System health
Knowing whether an autonomous system is working is a real question with a real answer. Tharas measures the pipeline and the resolution loop separately, and says plainly where the gaps still are.
Two layers#
- The core pipeline
- Is work getting planned, built, verified and shipped — and at what rate, with how much rework.
- The resolution loop
- When something blocks, is it recovering, and is the recovery real rather than a task marked done that comes back.
The number that matters most is false recovery#
A recovery rate on its own can be gamed by any system willing to declare victory. The honest pairing is recovery rate against false-recovery rate — how often something marked resolved comes back.
Both are published, along with escalation rate, so the picture cannot be flattered by looking at one figure.
What is not measured yet
There is no single combined health score. That is an honest gap rather than an oversight, and the documentation says so rather than inventing a composite that would look authoritative and mean nothing.
