The desktop app

Install it, sign in once, and your machine can build — with the workspace in a window and a tray icon that says what is happening.

What the app adds over a browser tab#

Sign in once, for both halves
Signing in to the window is what makes the machine reachable — from the phone, from the web, from a terminal somewhere else.
A tray that tells the truth
Signed in or not, accepting work or not, starting at login or not. Three separate facts, said separately.
Start at login
The machine goes on being reachable after a reboot, without anybody remembering to open anything.
Your own folders
A native picker for choosing a repository, and Reveal in Finder for what got built.

No terminal at any point

Download, install, open, sign in, start a goal. That path exists because the alternative — install and then paste a command to sign in — left anyone who does not use a terminal stuck immediately after installing.
