Watch a build
You say what you want and Tharas starts. There is nothing to approve along the way — this is what the screen shows instead, and what each part of it means.
What happens after you say it#
- Getting startedTharas reads what you asked for and plans the first task. A card says so straight away.
- Task 1: your home pageA new project starts with its home page, so your own site is on the right within minutes. The rest of the task list is planned meanwhile.
- Every other taskEach task being built gets its own card — “Task 3: Building the contact page · 03/07” — with a progress bar for that task alone. Up to three are built at once.
- DoneOnce every task is built, the whole app is checked together, and the build ends on one line: “Done — all 7 parts are built and checked.”
Reading a task card#
- Task 3
- Its number, in the order tasks finish — so the lines in the conversation always count up 1, 2, 3.
- 03/07
- This task of how many. Before the full plan exists the home page shows no count, because there is no total yet to count against.
- Writing it now · Checking it works · Fixing what the check found
- The stage the task is at. Its bar moves with it and never goes backwards.
- about 2 min
- A rough estimate for the task on screen, from how long this build’s other tasks took.
When a task finishes#
Its card goes, and a line takes its place where it happened in the conversation, saying what was done and what you can try: “Task 3 of 7 done — Contact page. Try it: Open Contact and send yourself a message.” A part that shows nothing on its own says when you will see it.
A page a task added has an Open button that takes the preview straight there.
Nothing waits for you
Tharas decides every checkpoint itself, and work that fails its checks is fixed by the next round, never shipped broken. If you want something different, say it in the conversation — a message sent mid-build is queued and built next.
Common questions
Can I see who is working on it?
“Show me the team at work” under the cards opens the agents, the timeline and the checks — the same panel “See what was done” opens on a finished build.
What if a build stops?
The card says so in plain words, and nothing built is lost. A build that stopped moving shows a Retry that carries on from where it stopped.
Does the terminal show the same thing?
Yes. tharas thread --project <name> ends on the same task cards, worded the same way.
